Who is SeverStorey?
Philip D. Sever, Esq. and Tonny Storey, Esq. are the owners and originators of Sever Storey. Both founders have dedicated their careers to helping businesses, families and individuals solve complex legal issues.
Phil Sever
Mr. Sever has represented clients as an attorney for over 13 years against some of the largest corporate and governmental agencies in the country. Before forming Sever Storey, Mr. Sever was a broker at Salomon Smith Barney where he was a certified guided portfolio manager and financial consultant. Currently, Mr. Sever is an active member of the eminent domain legal community and a member of the American Association of Eminent Domain Professionals. Tonny Storey
Mr. Storey has a broad range of legal experience stretching over 10 years. Mr. Storey started his career as a deputy prosecutor where he honed his litigation skills. Mr. Storey has represented hundreds of clients in a myriad of complex legal issues. Currently, Mr. Storey is a member of the real estate group of the American Bar Association. Read More
Chris Simpkins

Mr. Simpkins joined Sever-Storey in 2009 and focuses his law practice on eminent domain, immigration and general litigation. Mr. Simpkins is also a registered civil mediator in Indiana, having completed over 40 hours of training and simulation in mediation. Prior to joining Sever-Storey, Mr. Simpkins worked for the Chief Legal Counsel in the Indiana Governor’s Office where he helped provide legal advice to the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Indiana. Liz Currid

Liz Currid is the newest member of Sever Storey. As a lead associate, she brings with her a wide variety of legal experience. Most recently, Ms. Currid’s article “More Bite Than Bark: The Legal and Social Consequences of Microchipping Individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease” was published in the Indiana Health Law Review.
