Philip D. Sever, Esq. is one of the founding partners of Sever Storey and has been helping individuals, families, and businesses as an attorney since 1996. Mr. Sever is also a former broker at Salomon Smith Barney where he was a certified guided portfolio manager and financial consultant. This unique blend of legal and financial background creates a strong combination to help clients deal with complex legal and financial issues.

Mr. Sever currently serves clients in both Ohio and Indiana on eminent domain cases and is currently litigating compensation issues against the State of Ohio, the State of Indiana and various public and private utility companies.

Mr. Sever is licensed to practice law in both Indiana and Ohio. For cases requiring legal counsel in other jurisdictions, Mr. Sever's large network of fellow attorneys can provide representation in any state.

Mr. Sever enjoys competition and sports. He is regular participant in basketball leagues in the Hamilton County area and is currently training for his first Olympic distance triathlon.

Tonny D. Storey, Esq. is one of the founding partners of Sever Storey and has been helping individuals, families, and businesses as an attorney since 2001. Upon completion of law school, Mr. Storey served as a deputy prosecutor, where he practiced and honed his litigation skills. While attending law school, Mr. Storey taught 6th grade world history and coached his school's tennis teams.

Currently, Mr. Storey has an active eminent domain and business law practice. He represents numerous individuals in eminent domain disputes involving right of way takings and pipeline easements. In addition, Mr. Storey has developed a robust small business practice and is currently assisting several small business start-ups.

Mr. Storey completed his undergraduate degree in Education from Purdue University and received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University. Mr. Storey is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and currently assists on the bench bar conference committee. Mr. Storey is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as in the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of Indiana.

Mr. Storey enjoys an active lifestyle and has a variety of personal interests including investing, yoga, biking and tennis.

Liz is the newest member of Sever Storey and has been helping individuals, families, and businesses as an attorney since 2009. She received her B.A. from Butler University and her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Ms. Bowen is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as in the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of Indiana. She has been published in the Indiana Health Law Review (“More Bite than Bark: The Legal and Social Consequences of Microchipping Individuals with Alzheimer’s Diesease,” Volume 6, Number 2 (2009)) and received the prestigious gold level award for her pro bono work. While in law school, Ms. Bowen was Articles Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review, as well as the Head Articles Editor for the Hall Center E-Newsletter. Currently, she is a member of several professional organizations and authors the Barrister Banter, the newsletter for the Hamilton County Bar Association.  Also, Ms. Bowen is an officer of two non-profits, The Indiana Freedom Memorial, Inc. and The SFC Collin J. Bowen Memorial Scholarship, Inc.  In her free time, Ms Bowen enjoys playing indoor soccer, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends.
