Philip D. Sever, Esq. is one of the founding partners of Sever Storey and has been helping individuals, families, and businesses as an attorney since 1996. Mr. Sever is also a former broker at Salomon Smith Barney where he was a certified guided portfolio manager and financial consultant. This unique blend of legal and financial background creates a strong combination to help clients deal with complex legal and financial issues.
In the last several years, Mr. Sever has successfully litigated claims for hundreds of clients on a nationwide basis. Currently, he is acting as local lead counsel on a large class action involving discrimination at Eli Lilly.
Mr. Sever completed his undergraduate degree in English from Indiana University and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. Mr. Sever is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Mr. Sever is licensed in both Indiana and Ohio to practice law. He is also licensed to practice before all Indiana and Ohio federal courts.

Tonny D. Storey, Esq.is one of the founding partners of Sever Storey and has been helping individuals, families, and businesses as an attorney since 2001. Upon completion of law school, Mr. Storey served as a deputy prosecutor, where he practiced and honed his litigation skills. While attending law school, Mr. Storey taught 6th grade world history and coached his school’s tennis teams.
Currently, Mr. Storey has an active eminent domain and business law practice. He represents numerous individuals in eminent domain disputes involving right of way takings and pipeline easements. In addition, Mr. Storey has developed a robust small business practice and is currently assisting several small business start-ups.
Mr. Storey completed his undergraduate degree in Education from Purdue University and received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University. Mr. Storey is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and currently assists on the bench bar conference committee. Mr. Storey is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as in the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of Indiana.

Jason P. Hopper, Esq. is an associate attorney with Sever Storey and focuses his law practice on domestic relations, employment law, DUI/OWI and general civil litigation. Prior to joining Sever Storey, Mr. Hopper served as a judicial law clerk with the Marion County Circuit and Superior Courts, where he assisted the courts with various civil litigation and class action matters. Jason is also a former probation officer with the Miami County Probation Department and a former salesman with the New York Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Hopper has assisted numerous clients in marital dissolution, child custody, adoption, and paternity cases, as well as in sexual harassment, wrongful termination, DUI/OWI and insurance bad faith related litigation.
Mr. Hopper completed his undergraduate degree in Religion and Business from Wabash College, where he was an NCAA athlete with the college’s varsity football team. He received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Jason is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana, as well as in the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of Indiana.
